Why get a massage

Massage is one of the best ways to simultaneously relax and release tension within our body.

Massages have many different purposes depending on your goals! It can be a soothing, slow massage meant for meditation and relaxation or it can be meant for the release of muscular tension that could require firmer pressure and could be more uncomfortable!

No matter what you are looking for you will find it at LiveColder

When to get a massage

Massages can be performed any time of the day but if exercising or experiencing soreness timing your massage properly is of the utmost importance.

While it is normally not recommended to get a massage right before working out, our massage therapists can perform pre-exercise massage to prep your muscles for exertion. It is also not recommended to have deep tissue massages performed directly after exercise.

If you have any questions be sure to ask your massage therapist what is best!

What to expect

Depending on the type of massage you intend to receive will create entirely different experiences.

A deep tissue massage can be expect to have harder pressure that may aggravate sore & tight muscles. Deep tissue massages are intended to release muscular tension through more intense methods.

A relaxing massage is intended to sooth the mind and body simultaneously to ensure relaxation and alleviation of stress. While this style of massage can also aid in muscle soreness it will not have the same effectiveness as a deep tissue massage

What to bring

Prior to your massage your therapist will leave the room and allow for you to get dressed down to the level of your comfort.

There is no recommended attire as this service is meant specifically for your comfort.

We only recommend that you take off your jewelry on your wrists and neck so that our therapist may have unobstructed access to complete the massage.
